ABS Consulting Sells Government Institutes' Publishing
Division to Rowman & Littlefield Publishers Inc.

TX) ABS Consulting announced today that it has sold its
publishing division of Government Institutes to Rowman & Littlefield
Publishers Inc., a publisher of specialty books, located
in Lanham, Maryland.
The
publishing division of Government Institutes is a leading
provider of U.S. Government regulatory information including
commentary, reference books, textbooks and guides. Book
subjects include the environment, health, safety, food
and drug, and more recently, homeland security.
Rowman & Littlefield
acquired the right to use the "Government Institutes" name
for its publishing business and will house Government Institutes
under Scarecrow Press Inc, its bookseller.

Consulting will continue to conduct public and private
Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) training courses
under the Government Institutes banner as well as for its
seminar business.
